Alex has held many Regulatory and Quality positions in the corporate world since 2003, including leadership roles at Singulex and Allergan. He also served as a Regulatory mentor for Nex Cubed (a start-up accelerator), and as a Regulatory advisor in a consultative capacity with a few dozen companies, including some start-ups, mid-size companies, as well as Fortune-500 companies such as Apple and Thermo Fisher, providing strategic advice to the Senior Management Team in getting products to market. His industry experience has ranged from Biologics, Diagnostics, Neurovascular Medical Devices to SaMD and Telehealth in the US, EU, and other international markets.

As a Limited Partner for the Venture Fund: CHAP Health, formed in 2022, and as an angel partner for CG Angels, formed in 2020, Alex invests in healthcare companies where he offers not just capital, but also his operations expertise, to help them go through Seed and early Series stages. Over the years, Alex developed strong expertise in setting up Quality Management Systems, MDD to MDR and IVDD to IVDR transition/implementation and International Regulatory Compliance. In terms of community involvement, Alex was an active Chapter Leader for the San Francisco Chapter of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS) from 2012-2017, where he spearheaded chapter events and RAC-training courses.
